  1. Group 2,
You all did a great job at presenting different media forms into your Program Promotion. I enjoyed reviewing your brochure. Our group (Group 3) did this media type as well. What I enjoyed the most about the brochure is that it felt REAL. You all thought of a start point, a destination points and a date. This made it more real and easy to feel apart of. While this is true, it would’ve been nice to make this brochure a bit bigger on the screen or provide an link that directed us to a larger brochure format. The words were a bit blurry and hard to read, but the content was there and it’s outstanding how realistic each page runs for your promotion. When it came to the course reflection, I appreciated that it was self-narrated (not just a written transcript) and that you also, which I don’t think any other group did (including ours), placed the question being discussed on the video for everyone to follow along to. What was your group’s process for doing this specific video (Video 1)? It sounds like one person narrated it. Is that so? Did you all write out your statements individually and then summarize them together by question? It’s an interesting format I don’t think any group took this round. Very well done!

    1. Thanks for your feedback Delana. To answer your question regarding Video 1, each group member answered the questions and shared that information for one of our members to compile and narrate in the video.

  2. Team.

Being exposed durig some days to another environment might pose a real challenge for some people. From a transformative learning approach, this might be considered as a disorienting dilemma.

From the self-examination stage, participants at "crossroads" trip can realize the new competencies about languages, flavors, and behaviors they need to learn in order to understand better families with different background.

Participants will eventually become open-mindedness to understand and accept other cultures. During the reintegration stage, participants will learn new languages or feel comfortable getting in contact with people from different backgrounds.

I consider the outcome of crossroads trips is focusing on developing culture awareness and understanding through the transformative learning approach.
